FULL-TIME: maker of the dough + decorating team
First and foremost, you must have a kind demeanor and positive attitude. We have a really amazing team dynamic, and this is a priority for us.
That being said, must be willing to work as a part of a team working towards the same goals.
Must be knowledgable of the PVDonuts brand and mission.
Pastry and/or bakery background required.
Hours may vary, but are as follows:
Start time between 6 - 7am, and ending when tasks are completed.
Weekends and occasional holidays are required.
Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time (we'll provide new kitchen shoes after 60 days if you don't have them).
Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
Must be able to think on your feet, be proactive, and solve problems as they come along.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Making all of our dough
Brioche, Old Fashioned, Flourless, Vegan
Dipping and decorating donuts
Producing glazes, toppings, and in-house product, etc.
Probably a lot of other things that will come up that will be as new to you as they are to us, but that’s all part of being a small business.
Paid time off.
Monthly team outings (fun!)
Annual kitchen shoe stipend (may vary based on wear, so if you need 'em sooner, it's all good).
